Hymn
Invocation and Lord's Prayer (Unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
CONFESSION OF SIN & ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Call to Confession (Unison)
Reconciling God, we would rather gossip about those who sin against us, than speak to them privately; we would rather parade our wounds for all to see, than quietly work toward forgiveness and reconciliation. Help us choose the harder road, the road that opens possibilities for real healing, real forgiveness, and real growth in your Spirit. Help us place the best interests of our community of faith above our own need for public vindication. Amen.

Affirmation of Faith, Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell*; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic** Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
* ”hell” refers to the Hebrew word “Sheol,” a place of the dead, rather than the Hell of the final judgment.
** “catholic” is Latin for “universal,” implying the Christian unity that exists beyond all denominations.
Anthem
“For All Thy Saints”
For all thy saints, O Lord, who strove in thee to live,
who followed thee, obeyed, adored, our grateful hymn receive.
For all thy saints, O Lord, accept our thankful cry,
who counted thee their great reward, and strove in thee to die.
They all in life and death, with thee, their Lord, in view
learned from the Holy Spirit’s breath to suffer and to do.
For this thy name we bless, and humbly beg that we
may follow them in holiness and live and die in thee.
With them the Father, Son and Holy Ghost to praise,
as in the ancient time was done and shall through endless days. Amen.

Closing Hymn
Come, Ye Thankful People, Come!
Come, ye thankful people, come; raise the song of harvest home.
All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.
God, our Maker, doth provide for our wants to be supplied.
Come to God's own temple, come; raise the song of harvest home.
All the world is God's own field, fruit in thankful praise to yield,
wheat and tares together sown, unto joy or sorrow grown.
First the blade, and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear.
Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.
Even so, Lord, quickly come, to thy final harvest home.
Gather thou thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin,
there forever purified, in thy presence to abide:
come, with all thine angels, come; raise the glorious harvest home!
