SERMON SNAPSHOT: Sunday, October 3, 2021

Dear Friends In Christ —

This Sunday is World Communion Sunday, a tradition begun in 1930 by Hugh Thomson Kerr, a Presbyterian minister. His goal: to bring churches together in a service of Christian unity in which each congregation experiences a sense of interconnection, one with another.

Christians around the world, a world under siege, will come to a table Jesus has prepared offering sustenance, purpose and welcome. 

Invite those whom you know, those whom you have missed, those whom you love, and those whom you don’t. This is Christ’s table, and all are welcome.

WORSHIP SAFETY GUIDELINES: Due to the high rate of COVID-19 community transmission, the CDC is recommending indoor masking in public settings. Please wear a face mask, even if you are fully vaccinated. Please worship from home if you are exhibiting any COVID-like symptoms, are aware of an exposure, or have been asked by a school or other institution to quarantine or isolate.
