Youth of Second Presbyterian:
We have a small group of middle and high schoolers around Second. And while the group may be small, they are all active participants in the worship and ministry that takes place here. These are not easy years for anyone and given the choice very few would ever chose to go back to either middle or high school. The emotions that come along with an ever increased push to be better, to do better, can leave them exhausted and bewildered.
Please lift them up in your prayers. Pray that the Lord will give them the strength that they do not have. Pray for their families as the traverse these years together. And last but not least pray for the youth ministries that will begin forming over the summer. Having a group of fellow teens to walk this journey with can make all the difference in the world.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.
