Teachers:

Everyday thousands of teachers all across the state come to places of education to teach, but they do so much more than that. Many feed and clothe the children in their classrooms; they are mentors, they create safe havens and they are woefully underpaid. They spend their own time and money trying to build up the coming generations and they do so with little thanks.

Pray for our teachers, pray that they be empowered by Christ, that Jesus may direct their paths and give them wisdom and strength for each new day. Pray for their families who often have their time taken due to lack of resources. Pray for their immune systems as they are on the front lines!

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
