SERMON SNAPSHOT: Sunday, August 18, 2024

King David has just died. The nation of Israel is at a crossroads. An inflection point. A moment of high national anxiety. The potential for crisis is high. Sound familiar?

At the beginning of Solomon’s reign, God comes to him in a dream and says, “Ask what I shall give you.” Solomon’s response? “An understanding mind, …that I may discern between good and evil.”

Today, if ever there was a time for discerning between good and evil, that time is now.
